the wild & reckless years : a memoir of life in college.
“It all began in the whirlwind of my college years. A small-town kid transplanted to a bustling new landscape, I was thrown headfirst into a world of endless possibilities and endless challenges. But through it all, I discovered the thrill of self-discovery and growth.”
“Like any other teenager, I dove headfirst into college life with excitement and curiosity. I formed a tight-knit group of friends, filled my calendar with social events, and felt like I was living my best life. But little did I know, the true journey of self-discovery and growth was just beginning.”

“I indulged in all the typical college experiences – late-night outings, skipping classes, and consuming junk food. I also developed some unhealthy habits and dabbled in various relationships. Without guidance or oversight, I felt free to do as I pleased and I reveled in that feeling of wild abandon.

But I realize later that it all had a dark side too, which affected my mental and physical health.”
“For the first time, I felt the heady rush of freedom, and I was hooked. I reveled in the newfound autonomy, blissfully unaware of the bitter aftertaste that came with it. Little did I know, this newfound freedom would lead me on a journey of self-discovery and growth that would change me forever.”

As I navigated through the ups and downs of college life, I felt like I had it all figured out. I had great friends, a promising future, and the freedom to live my life the way I wanted. But little did I know, my world was about to come crashing down.
a turning point in my life, a time when I would be put to the ultimate test.
It all started with a police investigation, one in which I was falsely accused. Despite my innocence, I found myself trapped in a legal battle that consumed my every waking moment. The stress and uncertainty of the situation took a toll on me, and I found myself in constant conflicts with those around me. My relationships suffered, friendships were tested, and I found myself struggling to hold on to the life I once knew.

As if that wasn’t enough, I was faced with the reality of having to relocate and start over. The thought of leaving everything behind was terrifying, but I knew it was something I had to do. So, I gathered my courage and made the move, but it was not easy. I found myself in a new city, with no job and limited resources. I struggled to make ends meet, and my pockets were left with just pennies. It was a humbling experience and one that I’ll never forget.

That year taught me the true meaning of freedom and the fragility of life. It taught me to never take anything for granted and to always be prepared for the worst. I also realized that in the darkest of times, it’s essential to hold on to hope and never give up on your dreams. It was a challenging time, but one that ultimately made me stronger and more resilient.

As I began my job search, I felt a sense of determination and optimism. I was determined to turn my life around and to make the best of my new situation. After countless resumes and interviews, my hard work finally paid off and I landed a job. At first, I felt like everything was falling into place. I thought to myself, “Okay, everything is sorted now.” But little did I know, this was just the beginning of a new challenge.

A typical day for me would start with the monotonous routine of waking up at the crack of dawn, getting dressed in my corporate attire, and making my way to the office. The day would be filled with back-to-back meetings and endless tasks that made me feel like a robot. The days blended together, and I found myself feeling trapped in a never-ending cycle. I was no longer living; I was just surviving.

Every morning, I would wake up to the sound of my alarm, groggily getting out of bed and shuffling to the bathroom. I’d stare at myself in the mirror, trying to remember who I was and what I was working for. My routine was monotonous and uninspiring, and I always found myself running late to catch the bus.

The office was no better, the same faces, the same work, the same monotony. The days would blend together, and I would find myself pushing through, counting down the minutes until I could escape back to the safety of my room. During my commute, I would reply to messages and emails, trying to catch up on everything I had missed during the day. Dinner would be quick and uneventful, and before I knew it, it would be time to go to bed, so I could wake up and do it all over again. This cycle was soul-crushing, and it felt like it would never end.
something sparked.
Every day, I was stuck in an endless loop of thoughts and actions that led to the same experiences and emotions. I couldn’t help but secretly hope that something would change, but nothing ever did. It was as if I had been programmed to perform the same repetitive task over and over again. I felt an overwhelming emptiness inside of me, and a burning desire to find something meaningful to do.

But where do I start? I felt like I was standing at the edge of a cliff, with no clear path ahead. I knew I had to make a change, so I took a leap of faith and left my job, without even having a plan for what to do next. It was a daunting task, but I was determined to find answers. I spent my time searching for answers to the questions that arose in me, but every time I thought I found an answer, I was bombarded with more questions.

Despite doing everything “right”, I felt like everything was going wrong. It was a frustrating and confusing period in my life, but through it all, I realized the ultimate truth. I was looking for these answers in the wrong place. I was searching for something that could only be found within myself. I had to look inward to find what I was truly searching for and that’s where my journey of self-discovery began.
Into the unknown.
The year 2019 was a turning point for me. I had made a decision, that I would no longer be a robot working for others, instead, I would invest my time in learning and acquiring new skills that I could monetize. With this mindset, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, searching for ideas and experimenting with different options. I tried my hand at drop shipping, print-on-demand, affiliate marketing, faceless YouTube, freelancing, and countless other things. But no matter how hard I tried, I found myself failing again and again.

It was a tough time, and nothing seemed to be going right. My relationships with friends and family were strained, I had no money in the bank, and I was in debt. I had lost all motivation and was struggling with depression. I couldn’t talk to anyone about my problems, and I found myself numbing the pain with alcohol. It felt like I was in a never-ending cycle of failure.

I realized that the ranking system used in schools and colleges, which defines success and failure based on grades, doesn’t apply in real life. Failure is a part of the journey, and it’s important to learn from it and keep moving forward. It’s not about never failing, it’s about how we respond to failure and the effort we put in to keep pushing forward. I realized that true success comes from commitment and the willingness to keep trying even when things are tough.

Life is like a ship sailing through the stormy seas, it’s inevitable that we’ll encounter rough waves and strong winds. But what sets a strong captain apart from the rest is not the absence of storms, but the ability to navigate through them. It’s not about how many calm waters we have in our journey, but how we handle the rough ones.

I’ve faced my fair share of failures, I’ve been knocked down multiple times. But each time, I’ve picked myself up and dusted myself off. These failures lit a fire within me, a burning determination to not let them defeat me. I knew that these failures were not the end, but a stepping stone to my growth and development. They taught me valuable lessons and made me a stronger person.
I refused to let the fear of failure hold me back and I set sail again and again, each time with more experience and determination. My failures were not a hindrance but a compass that guided me through the stormy seas of life.
journey within : self introspection.
I decided it was time to take a break from my chaotic life and go on a solo introspection journey. I packed my bags and headed to a secluded cabin in the woods, ready to get to the bottom of my problems. I wanted to know what was causing all these ups and downs and why my life seemed to be stuck in a never-ending loop.

As I sat down and looked back on the last few years of my life, I realized that I was in a state of Groundhog Day. My life was like a broken record, repeating the same patterns over and over again. I was going nowhere, fast.

So, I set out to find the root cause of the problem and came to the realization that I was mindlessly performing the same compulsive actions. I was a slave to my own habits, and they were holding me back.

I knew that I needed to take control of my thoughts and emotions since they were the trigger to my feelings and ultimately my actions. I started to focus on what I could control instead of what I couldn’t control.

I began to document everything I knew about my current situation. My strengths, my weaknesses, my limiting beliefs, my fears, my habits, you name it, I wrote it down. Keeping a journal helped me reflect on my bad habits, the situations or emotions that prompted them, how I felt then, what I did when I faced those emotions or situations, and how they made me feel.

Slowly but surely, my focus shifted toward the positive. I started to see this tough time as a shedding phase of my life, a time to learn and grow. I realized that I had gained so many new skills through my failures like learning paid ads and e-commerce business taught me about buying behaviors. A failed print-on-demand business helped me acquire designing skills.

I came to understand that in a tough time, the only thing that matters most is continuous learning and action.
start of an entrepreneurial journey.
Starting an entrepreneurial journey can be a thrilling and fulfilling experience, but it’s important to have a clear direction to follow. Society often tells us to follow a certain path: go to school, get a job, get married, have kids, and retire, but is that really what we all want out of life? Sometimes we find ourselves drifting through life, going through the motions without ever taking the time to think about what we truly want for ourselves.

But it doesn’t have to be this way! If you take the time to define what you want out of life, you can start making progress toward your goals. The key to happiness is knowing what you want and how you plan to achieve it. It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind and lose sight of the future, so it’s essential to have goals to keep you motivated.

However, it’s also important not to have too many fixed goals. If you’re constantly chasing after a never-ending to-do list, you’ll never truly be happy. Striking a balance between enjoying the present moment and planning for the future will help you develop a more flexible approach to life and make it easier for you to adapt to whatever comes your way. Embrace the present while planning for the future, it will make you less anxious and make it easier to adjust to changing circumstances.

In short, Starting an entrepreneurial journey requires a clear direction and an open mind with a balance of enjoying the present moment and planning for the future, not only for the sake of reaching your goals but also for finding happiness along the way.
shaping the direction.
We all have the same 24 hours in a day, but it’s up to us to shape it toward our goals. We can use our time and energy on things that interest us, things we’re good at, things we love, and things that we want to be remembered for. It’s true, if you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work.

I used to compare myself to others, but that just led to competition. But then, I realized, it’s not about competing with others, it’s about competing with myself. By focusing on myself as my own competition, I was able to see how much I could grow and understand my own self-worth.

To be stable and balanced, I started to integrate some physical and spiritual activities into my daily routines. It helped me to feel good and more energized. After all, if my foundation is not strong, it doesn’t matter how hard I work, it will only be as good as my foundation. And for me, that foundation is the stability of my body and mind.

So, if you’re struggling to shape your direction, remember that we all have the same 24 hours in a day, and it’s up to us to use it wisely. Instead of comparing yourself to others, compete with yourself and strive to be the best version of yourself. And don’t forget to have a little fun along the way!
maintaining balance.
Maintaining balance in life is crucial for overall well-being and happiness. However, it is not something that can be learned through theories alone. It is a skill that needs to be experienced through practical application.

I remember my father trying to teach me how to ride a bicycle as a child. He emphasized the importance of maintaining balance, keeping the left and right sides of the body equally balanced. At the time, I didn’t fully understand the concept of balance, but as soon as I started riding the bicycle myself, I realized what balance truly meant.

This same concept applies to our lives, but instead of riding a bicycle, we’re navigating through life. It’s essential to be aware of our current state of being and how we feel in the present moment. Ask yourself: How am I feeling right now? How is my sleep? How is my appetite? What is my current state of mind? By being mindful of these things, we can take action to balance out any areas that may not be feeling right.

To maintain balance in life, it’s essential to be mindful of our physical, emotional, and mental well-being. It’s necessary to take care of ourselves and take action when something feels off-balance. Just like learning to ride a bicycle, maintaining balance in life is something that we will continuously learn and improve upon throughout our life.
matter of harmony.
Life is a symphony of ups and downs, but what if there was a way to embrace it all without getting caught up in the drama? Imagine realizing that the key to life is all about harmony, balance, stability, and unity. No matter what life throws our way, we can remain grounded and unshakable.

Making the decision and committing to doing something meaningful in our lives requires a strong mindset, determination, willpower, and vitality. It’s a small shift in perspective, but it makes all the difference. And with this newfound understanding, we can truly express ourselves to the world in a meaningful way.

Think of it like a musical composition, each note played in harmony and balance to create a beautiful masterpiece. Life is like that too, a beautiful symphony waiting to be composed by you. So let’s harmonize our thoughts, unify our actions, balance our emotions, and strive for stability.

Let’s make our life a beautiful symphony that we can enjoy and share with the world!

Life is a journey, and like all journeys, it’s filled with twists and turns, ups and downs. But even though it may not have been easy, it’s been worth it. And looking back on everything that’s happened so far, I am grateful for it all because it has led me to where I am today.

I know that I’m on the right path, and I hope that you can find your own path too. However, I want to make something very clear: I’m not promising that you’ll find all the answers by reading this one post, but what I am saying is that if you keep searching, keep trying, and keep being curious, you’ll find the answers you’re looking for.

Life will keep asking you questions, and the only way to find the answers is to keep searching. Trust me, when you least expect it, you’ll find the answer to the biggest question of all: “Who am I?”

So, don’t give up on your quest for understanding yourself, embrace the journey, and stay curious, one day you’ll find what you’re looking for.
